I may be sounding unpatriotic or even an asshole to some, but have never really been able to understand the purpose of standing in line to sing the national anthem. I have never really been a fan of compliance and somehow the act of standing in line to sing an anthem makes me feel like am back in primary school.

Nevertheless I love and am proud of my country. Our independence and our standard of living are the fruit of the sacrifice of our forefathers.

Has our education system turned us into zombies?
