Did you hear about the old rant about system admins? Lazy system admins are good system admins. They do their best to automate their everyday tasks with nifty shell scripts.

My guess is programmers should be likewise. Find ways to do minimal coding, avoid reinventing the wheel, use libraries. Code with the future in mind, code for reuse. But nevertheless the challenge here is trust. Can we trust code written by other people? Need to ponder on that one.

I like simple things. They are beautiful and easy to learn.

I do not have to exert myself to understand things that are simple. Why is the world after complicated things? The more complicated they make things, the more they think they have achieved.

I guess the world is all stressed, people want to reach some goal by all means. Thats when things get complicated, goals are never reached.
